Old wall surfaces are generally cement surfaces, paint surfaces, washed stone surfaces, brick surfaces, etc. The main difficulty and key point in construction lies in the base treatment, and the quality of the base treatment directly affects the construction effect and decorative effect of the multi-color stone-like paint. In actual construction, different treatment plans and construction procedures should be formulated according to different base materials. The main construction steps are as follows:
Base Treatment:
First, roll on an innovative tile bonding agent on smooth old tiles. It can quickly penetrate the tiles and form a durable, uneven and rough bonding layer on the tile surface, improving the bonding strength between putty and other coating layers and the base layer. (Before rolling on the innovative tile bonding agent, flush and clean the dust and oil on the tile surface with high-pressure water; partially remove damaged parts such as hollowing and delamination, and repair them smooth with cement mortar.)
Putty Leveling:
Scrape exterior wall special putty on the roughened bonding agent coating for leveling. It should be noted that exterior wall special putty must be used. Outdoor environments such as wind, sun, rain erosion, high temperature baking and low temperature freeze-thaw have much higher requirements for water resistance, crack resistance, alkali resistance, mildew resistance and weather resistance of wall decorative layers than interior decorative putty.
Sealing Primer:
To enhance the adhesion of the coating, it is necessary to apply a sealing primer when constructing on old wall surfaces. Spray the multi-color stone-like paint after the sealing primer is dry.
Spraying Multi-color Stone-like Paint:
Spray the multi-color intermediate paint for coloring. After drying, spray the multi-color stone-like paint evenly with a special spray gun for 1-2 coats, with an interval of 12 hours between each coat (23±2℃). After spraying, dry for 24 hours, then spray the topcoat varnish evenly with a spray gun for 1-2 coats, with an interval of 4-6 hours between each coat.
Do not forget to perform grid division on the wall after the primer is applied to improve the effect. Referring to the style of exterior wall dry-hanging stone, grid division should be carried out at the eaves line and window openings, and the grid lines should be turned to the inner side of the window frames; if the floor is low, the grid tape of 0.8-1.8cm should be used for the grid lines.
